DOME ASSEMBLY 2

On Sunday Morning, we planned to construct the dome on the site on 9 am. Because of Sunday, there is no bus service around the school area. We have to walk to school. When we arrived, a scaffold has been construct and they are busy in construction of dome!! The scaffold can not stand up stably, it needs to support by the stair beside the building, for the safety reason, we forced to cancel the plan to use scaffold in construction.

When I come to the site, the construction of dome is in the process.

The scaffold is not stable enough for us to stand.

So, the construction of the dome starts from the top to bottom due to the scaffold problem. It is fantastic feeling when a lot of people help to carry the dome, all of us contribute our strength, sweat and idea. At 1pm, we dicided to take some rest, it is feeling good when Dr. Illias treats us to have our lunch in Subaidah, THANKS!! We all are satisfied with the lunch.

The construction continues after the praying time of Muslim, the dome now is getting higher and higher. Of course, the more problems will exist. Some of the bamboos crack and run out from the connector. Our main task is saving the dome with a hole.

Some of us open our umbrella because of the sunshine.

It is not an easy job to support the dome.

Oh no, What has happening??

When coming to the 4th layers, the incurable problem exist and we have no more idea to construct next level. So, the construction stop at here. Although it is half of the dome that we planed before, but still happy to see our product!!!

The connector started to bent and make us started to worry.

The construction stops! Everybody is exicited!!
